Becky Rohrback

Becky owns and operates Maryland Birth Services, LLC and has always been intrigued and passionate about birth and babies. She lives in Harford County, Maryland where she has been serving families in the Central and Capital Regions of Maryland, Northern Virginia, Northern Delaware, and Southeast Pennsylvania for the last 11 years.

Becky has broad birth experience supporting mothers and families through high risk, special needs, unmedicated and natural, pain managed, and cesarean section births. She supports clients in all types of birth environments and strives to meet the individual needs and desires of each one.

Becky loves to travel, and her favorite destination will include plenty of sun with a beautiful beach. She can usually be found in the stands watching her kids play their favorite sport or experimenting with a new recipe in the kitchen. Her newest hobby is cake decorating.

A trained professional who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to a mother before, during and shortly after childbirth to help her achieve the healthiest, most satisfying experience possible.

 

The Use of TENS in Labor

DONA International

Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) can be a good source of pain relief during labor. This training focused on the proper techniques and protocols to leverage the TENS unit safely and effectively.

Birth and Bereavement Doula

Stillbirthday

Stillbirthday doulas (SBD® Doulas) support families experiencing birth, enduring bereavement, or facing any event where birth and bereavement may meet such as birth in any trimester with any outcome, unconventional loss, or NICU care.

 

The Spinning Babies Workshop

Spinning Babies®

Focused on fresh solutions for long, painful labors, fetal malposition (posterior, asynclitic, etc.), or labor dystocia. Address pelvic muscles with slow, sustained stretches and fascia techniques. It’s as simple as finding and making room for the baby.

Rebozo Credential

Gena Kirby University

Rebozos are used during labor to relax and reposition mothers during childbirth. Certification teaches doulas the techniques and motions that bring pain relief to the muscles and ligaments around the abdominal and pelvic region.

 

Postpartum and Infant Care Specialist

ProDoula

Equips doulas with the practical skills necessary to provide postpartum & infant care support to client’s and their families. Covers many topics such as physical recovery from birth, feeding, infant care, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.
